CAD SERVICES: YOU NEED ‘EM, WE GOT ‘EM
In our industry, CAD services mean different processes and outputs that, when used, lead to an improved project outcome. Specifically, ECI’s CAD Services include earthwork takeoffs, linework, 3D models, and as-builts. Each service is offered a la carte and delivered to our clients promptly to help avoid digging delays on the job site. When working with GPS-enabled heavy equipment, CAD services are necessary to get the machine working. Some of the major benefits are increased accuracy, reduced waste, faster time to completion, and improved safety.
Work More Efficiently
Calculating quantities manually for takeoffs is time-consuming and may prohibit you from bidding on as many projects as you need or want to. Allow us to take that burden off you and send you the report so you can get to bid faster. When linework and 3D models are needed for a project, we can quickly get you the linework even before the surface model is done so you can get started straight away to avoid underutilizing resources (like your crew). Our engineers do this day in and day out so they’re not only fast at it, but they can pick up on things early on that otherwise could’ve been missed and turn into a problem down the line. This is additional value added to our clients which saves them money in the long run. It's easy to work with us. Simply send us the project files (CAD and PDF) and we will work directly off those plans to create the data files your equipment needs to run off GPS.
Project Size Doesn’t Matter
Whether you’re constructing a small playground or working on a large heavy/highway project, the benefits of using GPS-enabled equipment are many. Having a partner with CAD services expertise allows you to focus on running the project effectively and meeting (or beating) your deadlines! Not surprisingly, costs vary for each service and are dependent on the size and complexity of the project.
3D Model Building at ECI
Our CAD services go beyond the data, reports & models to include an expert eye on issues, errors, or conflicts that are identified in the project plans. We also give our clients direct access to the engineer who is working on your project. If you’re in the field and have a question or something isn’t working right, we’re just a quick phone call away. We will walk you through the necessary steps to get you going ASAP. Call or email us with any questions you have related to earthwork and technology – we’d love to chat with you!
